Handweaver working with local regeneratively reared wool

Handweaver based in the Mendips, Somerset using naturally dyed, regeneratively farmed wool to create wearable pieces, soft furnishings and wall panels.

I design and make handwoven scarves, shawls, accessories and soft furnishings, in various combinations of geometric patterning.  I work with undyed and naturally dyed, regeneratively farmed Shetland and Romney wool that is sourced from high in the Mendip Hills, less than 10 miles from my loom.  My work is crafted to last for many years to come and at the end of its life can be safely returned to nourish the earth.  I am happy to discuss any commission ideas that you may have.

I am also a textiles facilitator with a focus on sustainability and accessibility.  I lead inclusive handweaving sessions on both frame looms and rigid heddle looms.  I also run educational workshops that help to make the concept of Fibreshed accessible to people of all abilities.
