As a certified organic farm, we grow wool from our flocks of New Zealand Romneys, Black Welsh Mountains, and Shetland sheep, in South Pool, Devon. The lambswool we produce goes to British mills to be made into skeins of hand knitting yarn that we sell directly from Gullet Farm, and the sheep’s wool is used by Natural Mat, the Devon based organic mattress company. We strongly believe in traceability and sustainability, and the importance of that in our natural fibres.
We are starting the conversation about how the South West can produce more home-grown textiles and garments in a more healthy, resilient and regenerative textile ecosystem.
