We are based on the Isle of Wight, where, on our own farm we raise and shear a small
mixed breed fibre flock, including Wensleydale Sheep for their wool and our speciality,
Angora Goats for their Mohair.
Together with being committed to natural, ethical farming, with free-grazing animals and
no chemical fertilisers, we pride ourselves on our growing range of eco-friendly pieces
and materials alike. We process our own fibre by hand, which begins by carefully cleaning the raw material using our rainwater harvest.
This is followed by using traditional methods for carding, spinning, felting and weaving
to produce a range of vegetarian rugs, cushions, scarves, shawls and other items, all of
which are offered for sale in our farm based shop. Further to this is our range of fleece and fibre in its various stages for other spinners, weavers and makers.
Taster days, demonstrations and workshops also take place throughout the year for us to share our knowledge and promote the wonder that is fibre and fleece.
We are starting the conversation about how the South West can produce more home-grown textiles and garments in a more healthy, resilient and regenerative textile ecosystem.
